Looking through the exhibits and the archives of the Sandy Spring Museum in Sandy Spring, Maryland, I was immediately drawn to the baby dolls. They all exude such personality. Dolls reflect the experiences of the children who love them. All of these dolls appear to have been much loved. At least one doll dates back to as early as 1875. To whom did these dolls belong? What stories do they tell?
